Rabdan Academy Holds a Series of Specialized Seminars to Introduce Its Students to ChatGPT

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 7 March 2023: Rabdan Academy held a series of seminars on ChatGPT, aimed at introducing students to relevant opportunities and challenges in the field of Artificial intelligence in general, and ChatGPT in particular.

More than 600 students, faculty and staff, as well as professors, academics, and experts in artificial intelligence applications participated in the sessions, which witnessed active participation and great interest from the audience.

The sessions covered a wide range of topics related to ChatGPT, including, but not limited to the history and evolution of ChatGPT, and its capabilities in deepening knowledge and understanding, improving writing skills, learning new languages, developing conversational language, along with interaction and argument.

The seminars also informed students on how to use content written by ChatGPT within their assessments, emphasizing that ChatGPT should be treated similarly to other sources of information taken from books, journals, and the internet, which need to be referenced as direct quotes. 

The seminars were led by experts in the field, who provided practical examples of how ChatGPT technology can be applied in various industries, and attendees had the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions and share their own ideas and experiences.

The sessions also covered the ethical considerations surrounding the use of artificial intelligence, including issues of privacy and bias. Attendees were encouraged to think critically about the implications of ChatGPT technology and to consider the role they can play in shaping its future.
