The program prepares graduates for positions as intelligence analysts who are able to lead a team in the preparation of assessments based on the ethical collection, correlation, and analysis of information for the safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness and crisis management (SSDEC) sectors
The program provides a specialised, theoretical foundation and applied skills for a graduate to function successfully as an intelligence analyst. Specifically, graduates possess the skills to critically scrutinise unstructured and often ambiguous data within a variety of competitive, security, and criminal contexts, including organised crime, national security, safety, and terrorism.
By successfully completing the MSc in Intelligence Analysis (MIA) program, a graduate will have the following competencies:
