Dr. Ruxandra Oana Vlad

Assistant Professor

Dr. Ruxandra Oana Vlad is a specialist in international security, counterterrorism, and intelligence. Her subject matter expertise covers a broad range of critical security issues, including counterterrorism strategies, cyber terror networks, UAVs, and the advancement of innovative defense technologies, which has allowed her to provide strategic counsel to intelligence agencies, military organizations, government entities, and think tanks. A published scholar and recognized strategic advisor, Dr. Vlad is frequently consulted by governments and think tanks. Most recently, she provided expert counsel to the New Zealand Government and the Prime Minister's Office on advanced counterterrorism strategies within the Five Eyes (FVEY) framework.
