Rabdan Academy, in collaboration with the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), successfully hosted a high-level awareness session titled “Passenger Data Management: Strategic Tools for Countering Terrorist Travel.” The session focused on the use of advanced technologies and strategic frameworks to support international efforts in detecting and preventing terrorist travel across borders.
Moderated by Dr. John Harrison, Associate Professor of Homeland Security at Rabdan Academy, the session featured a distinguished panel of experts, who explored the evolution of passenger name recognition (PNR) systems, their role in enhancing border security, and the importance of international cooperation, responsible data sharing, and innovation in counterterrorism.
