Rabdan Academy, in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, successfully hosted a virtual awareness session titled “Knowledge Management in Safety, Security, Defence, and Emergency Sectors.”
The session, presented by Professor Lee Chu Keong, Programme Director of MSc in Knowledge Management at NTU, highlighted the core principles and global best practices in Knowledge Management (KM). Participants explored practical strategies for capturing, documenting, sharing, and applying institutional knowledge to support innovation, operational excellence, and institutional memory, especially within the SSDEC sectors.
During the session, Professor Lee emphasized the critical role of KM in building smarter, more connected organizations, capable of adapting to rapid changes and sustaining long-term strategic readiness.
This session forms part of Rabdan Academy’s broader efforts to promote international knowledge exchange and drive excellence in national safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness and crisis management domains.
