Rabdan Academy Hosts Seminar on Emergency Preparedness for Aerial Threats

Abu Dhabi – UAE, 15 April 2025: Rabdan Academy successfully hosted a specialized seminar titled “Emergency Preparedness for Aerial Threats”, bringing together experts and professionals in the fields of safety, security, and emergency response to explore the latest best practices in civil defence strategies against unconventional aerial threats.

The seminar, held at the Academy's campus in Abu Dhabi, featured a keynote presentation by Mr. Eitan Charnoff, Public Safety Advisor, who shared his insights from over a decade of experience in emergency preparedness and international safety cooperation.

The session focused on real-world scenarios and emerging threats including drone attacks, powered gliders, weaponized drift balloons, and improvised rocket assaults, emphasizing the importance of proactive response strategies, cross-agency coordination, and the integration of advanced technologies in safeguarding communities.
