Rabdan Academy’s Alumni Meet for the First Time in a Friendly Atmosphere and Agenda Full of Activities and Events

Abu Dhabi – 23 January 2023: The Alumni Relations Section at Rabdan Academy organised the First Alumni Reunion in Jubail Mangrove Park Abu Dhabi, in the presence of more than 50 Alumni from the various national entities in the country.

The Reunion was attended by H.E. Major General Salem Shaheen Al Nuaimi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police Human Resources Sector, H.E. Brigadier Othman Haji Al Khouri, Director of the Missions Department, in addition to a number of the Academy’s senior management members.

H.E. James Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, highlighted Rabdan Academy’s pride and honour in this distinguished elite of the Academy’s alumni, noting that the Academy has proven, since its inception, its excellence in graduating highly qualified professionals capable of protecting the security and prosperity of the country, and he paid tribute to the great and continuous efforts made by the faculty and staff of Rabdan Academy to become today a distinguished educational institution. Morse also thanked Rabdan Academy’s Alumni who contribute to the progress of the country through their various leadership and important positions, pointing out that these meetings come as part of the Academy’s continuous endeavour to maintain positive and effective communication between the Academy and its alumni, and its constant keenness to develop and update its academic and professional programs for the benefit of its current and future students by keeping pace with the developing market.

For his part, Major General Salem Shaheen Al Nuaimi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police Human Resources Sector, commended the role played by Rabdan Academy in supporting and strengthening the safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness and crisis management system in the country, highlighting Abu Dhabi Police’s pride to have Rabdan Academy’s alumni among its personnel, who carry the mandate of maintaining security and order, and protecting the country and its people, and he wished Rabdan Academy’s alumni more success in their careers. Major General Al Nuaimi also expressed his thanks to the President of the Academy and all its staff for their great effort and wonderful work in developing specialised national cadres, and providing various entities with world-leading expertise.

Rabdan Academy’s first alumni reunion included many activities, interactive events, and friendly discussions, during which they learned about each other’s experiences after graduation and the challenges they faced during their career, in addition to reviewing inspiring success stories of selected alumni.

During the dinner, the alumni exchanged cordial talks and recalled the memories they had at Rabdan Academy during their study journey. These talks reflected the positive relations between the Academy’s alumni and their constant cooperation to enhance their skills and practical abilities after their graduation.

This first reunion comes as an introduction to a series of annual meetings that the Academy will hold for its alumni to listen to their opinions and observations and improve the Academy’s performance.
