Rabdan Academy cooperates with the National Meteorological Center to develop research related to climate change

Implementing to its strategy in cooperate with government centers Rabdan Academy represented by Dr. Khamis Al-Abdouli, Assistant Professor of Business Continuity and Crisis Management Program, at the Rabdan Academy and Dr. Idris Allam, Assistant Professor of Business Continuity Management Program at the Academy, held an online Webex meeting with Mr Rashed Alshehhi, Director of Technical Services Department and his colleagues from the National Center of Mereology (NCM) to discuss the cooperation activities related to developing climate change research.
During the meeting participant discussed the challenges related to climate change facing the region and the world, the most recent tools used to predict the risks of these challenges, and devising mechanisms to overcome them, based on accurate information and data.
As a leading UAE resilience academy, Rabdan Academy’s researchers planning to simulate and analyze the spatial – temporal climate variations all over the country to better understand the various hazards associated with climate change and predict any future risk based on the historical data. Such initiative will assist the urban planner and emergency management sectors to prepare better emergency plans and improve the infrastructure for resilient communities in the future.
Rabdan Academy working continuously to build sustainable strategic relationships with various government entities to develop experiences into a reality that contributes to facing natural disasters and the appropriate preparation for challenges.
