Prevention and Safety Authority and Rabdan Academy sign MoU to collaborate on training

Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Rabdan Academy to collaborate on organise and deliver, training and specialised workshops, the MoU was signed at Prevention and Safety Authority in Sharjah.
The MoU focuses on the management and implementation of training workshops in occupational health and safety, and spread preventive awareness among all segments of society, which is within the core objectives of the Prevention and Safety Authority.
H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Safety and Prevention Authority said: “This cooperation will contribute effectively to spreading preventive awareness among government employees, reflecting the Authority’s vision to achieve a safe and risk-free society. Training programs will be tailored to the needs of government entities in line with the Authority’s objectives, supporting complementary roles between all parties, which are the main pillars of the work of the Authority”.
Dr. Faisal Obaid Al Ayyan, Rabdan Academy Vice President said: “We are delighted to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority. Through this cooperation, the Academy will offer the best vocational training programs for the staff of the Authority, through a coordinated and sustainable training courses, which is keen to strengthen the capacity of its staff to respond quickly to disasters.”
The memorandum paves the way for cooperation and coordination between the two parties. These include the preparation and delivery of awareness sessions, in the field of security and safety, to individuals and society in the Emirate of Sharjah. The Academy will organise and deliver short courses training programs for the Authority’s employees, in order to enhance their capabilities in related fields, as well as the exchange of expertise, information and consultations.
