Rabdan Academy hosted the 2nd edition of the ‘Centres of Excellence’ Conference, a critical forum focused on the pivotal role of first responders in the Safety, Security, Defence, Emergency Preparedness, and Crisis Management sectors.

The 2nd edition took place against the backdrop of global geopolitical developments, highlighting the growing importance of first responders in managing complex situations, addressing critical events, and making timely, life-saving decisions. From leading rescue efforts in flood-stricken areas to countering terrorist threats and executing decisive responses to emergencies, their role has never been more vital.

This conference addressed the interoperable role of the first responder in light of the increasing challenges posed by natural disasters, geopolitical tensions, and evolving threats.

This edition also hosted world class researchers and speakers from the fields of Fire Management, Anti-Terrorism, Safety & Security. Practical case studies were analysed to draw lessons and improve future interoperable response to major incidents
