Formerly a Police Officer in the United Kingdom Dr. Alistair has worked as a Senior Lecturer in Criminology & Criminology with Psychology in the United Kingdom and as a Lecturer in Policing and Crime Investigation, before that. He was an external examiner for the BSc Professional Policing Practice and the Graduate Diploma in Professional Policing Practice supporting the Metropolitan Police Service for Brunel University, London.
He has undertaken the University of Cambridge Centre for Evidence-Based Policing Professional Certificate in Evidence-Based Policing Leadership and has achieved the Advance Higher Education (HE) teacher Fellowship.
