Lydia Rose Teresa Davenport

Lecturer

A serving Chief Inspector (on career break) with the UK Police with extensive operational and strategic experience across a number of policing areas – Serious and Organized Crime, Intelligence, Child Protection, Safeguarding, Sex Offender Management, Crime Investigations, Road Policing, Incident Command and Risk Management. 

Lydia gained a place on the UK Police High Potential Development Scheme where she completed her Post Graduate and Masters with Warwick Business School, Warwick University. 

Prior to joining Rabdan, Lydia was working for the UK National Crime Agency (International Command and CEOP) and the UK Home Office in their International Development Teams as a senior Law Enforcement Advisor, leading on international reform projects to develop law enforcement in a number of overseas locations including Kenya, Mexico and the British Overseas Territories. This involved senior stakeholder negotiation and international relations as well as training and mentoring development programmes and policy advisory. 

Member of the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) and IAWP Committee member. 

Qualification

    • Masters (MSc) in Leadership and Management (Warwick Business School, Warwick University).
    • Post-Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management (Warwick Business School, Warwick University).
    • Level 3 (AET) Trainer.
    • Extensive operational policing qualifications.
