Dr. Osama Ahmed Khashan

Associate Researcher/ Associate Professor

Dr. Osama Khashan is an Associate Professor and Associate Researcher at Rabdan Academy, boasting a prestigious academic and research career spanning over 15 years. His extensive expertise spans a multitude of domains, encompassing information security, cyber security, blockchain, cryptography, IoT, cloud computing, and machine learning. This expertise is manifested in his authored book, patents, peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers, and active participation in a number of scientific projects.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Khashan served as both an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Saudi Electronic University from 2015 to 2021. He also held Lecturer positions at Al Jouf University and Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University between 2008 and 2012. Besides his academic and research pursuits, he holds numerous professional certifications in cybersecurity, cloud, database, and programming. Furthermore, he actively contributes as a reviewer for various esteemed scientific journals, and has supervised many bachelor's and master's students in their academic and research journeys.
