Abu Dhabi, UAE - June 16, 2023: The Safe City Centre of Abu Dhabi Police hosted a delegation from Rabdan Academy to provide them with an overview of its achievements.
The delegation, led by Dr. Shamma Hamdoon Al Naqbi, Associate Dean at Rabdan Academy, was briefed on the utilization of artificial intelligence in security and traffic data systems and the centre's pivotal role in bolstering the security system through the implementation of best practices.
Lieutenant Colonel Eng. Ahmed Sorour Al Shamsi, the Director of the Safe City Centre, warmly welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing Abu Dhabi Police's keen interest in strengthening cooperation, promoting joint coordination, and fostering the exchange of experiences and scientific knowledge.
During the visit, Lieutenant Colonel Eng. Saeed Abdullah Al Rashidi delivered presentations on various topics, including the utilization of advanced technologies for electronic road monitoring, analysis of traffic and criminal data, and the effective incorporation of modern technologies to enhance protection, prevention, safety, and address evolving challenges.
The visiting delegation comprised officers and students enrolled in the Master of Science Program in Systems Engineering Specialising in Defence and the Bachelor of Science Program in Policing and Security, alongside members of the Academy’s faculty and staff.
