Dr. Shamma Al Naqbi

Associate Dean

Presently, Dr. Shamma holds the position of the associate Dean at Rabdan Academy. Her journey began at the Higher College of Technology, where she assumed the role of English Faculty Lead, overseeing the design and implementation of specialized programs to educate and train young Emirati educators for kindergarten and primary level instruction. Over the course of five years, she was promoted to the position of Foundation Program Chair, solidifying my commitment to educational leadership.

Embarking on a path defined by continuous advancement and accomplishments, she made a strategic move to Rabdan Academy, where she undertook pivotal roles as the Chair of the Foundation and General Education Program, shaping a significant phase of her professional journey. These responsibilities seamlessly paved the way for her subsequent appointment as the Student Affairs Director. In this influential capacity, she orchestrated a thorough restructuring and skillfully executed annual work plans for the Student Affairs, leaving an enduring imprint on the institution.

Her dedication to continuous professional advancement is underscored by a rich academic background. She holds a Master of Strategic Security Studies from the esteemed National Defense College, a Ph.D. in Education Management, Policy, and Leadership from a reputable British University, a Master of TESOL from Melbourne University, and a Bachelor of Education from Higher Colleges of Technology. Each academic milestone has contributed to her expertise and dedication to the field of education and its broader impact on society.
