د. بسمة أستاذ مساعد في أكاديمية ربدان وهي حاصلة على درجة الدكتوراه في اللغويات التطبيقية بتخصص فرعي - تدريس الكتابة الأكاديمية والبحث. وقامت بإعداد وتدريس عدد كبير من المساقات الدراسية ووحدات التعلم عن بعد وحضورياً. وهي عضو في اتحاد مراكز الكتابة للشرق الأوسط وشمال افريقيا (MENAWCA). كما عملت كمنسقة أبحاث في أكاديمية ربدان في 2020-2021. وعملت كحكم دولي في مسابقة الطلاب الدولية الأولى في التعليم الذكي والتعلُّم الإلكتروني (SEEL 2019).

تتركز أبحاث د. بسمة في مجالين: تعلم اللغة من خلال التكنولوجيا وعمليات ونتائج كتابة اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية (EFL). وتُعنى أبحاثها في مجال التكنولوجيا باستخدام تطبيق واتس آب والجدران الرقمية وبطاقات التقييم والواقع المعزز. كما ركزت أبحاثها المتعلقة بعمليات الكتابة على إدراك واستيعاب الطلبة لملاحظات المعلم ونماذج التقييم، وعمليات اتخاذ القرار لدى الطلاب أثناء الكتابة، وجوانب الكتابة الحوارية والإقناعية.
