حصل د. مانابراتا جوها على درجة الدكتوراه من جامعة لانكستر. عمل سابقاً في جامعة نيو ساوث ويلز في أكاديمية قوات الدفاع الأسترالية (كانبرا، أستراليا)، ومركز دراسات الحرب المشتركة (نيودلهي، الهند)، وجامعة باث (باث، المملكة المتحدة)، والمعهد الوطني للدراسات المتقدمة (بنغالورو، الهند)، وفي جامعة لانكستر (لانكستر، المملكة المتحدة).
