Dr. Warren Chin

Program Chair

Dr. Warren Chin has thirty years of experience working in both civilian and professional military educational establishments. In that time, he taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, including supervision of PhD students. However, his main area of expertise is in the delivery of professional military education and for the last 27 years he has taught students from officer cadets at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, to generals at the Royal College of Defence Studies and the Joint Services Command and Staff College.

Qualification

    Earned by MA and PhD in the War Studies Department, King’s College London.

Teaching Areas

    specializd in the delivery of Professional Military Education and teach across a broad syllabus that includes military history, strategic studies, defence policy and regional studies.

Research Interests

    The main research focuses on the changing character of war and contemporary challenges facing defence organizations today.
